・The floor-length coat sets the scale of this Nightcrawler costume, but the color underneath keeps the look from becoming a single dark block. Burgundy at the torso and narrow purple pinstripes below are held inside a black outer frame, giving the outfit a formal, slightly theatrical character without relying on a bright overall palette.

Red bands cut diagonally across the coat, turning the chest and shoulders into one connected geometric pattern. The lines converge around the burgundy vest and the square belt emblem, then continue into the red-edged panels at the waist. A high black neckline keeps the center narrow, while the fitted sleeves and wide forearm pieces add weight to the upper body.

Below the waist, the coat separates into long pleated panels while leaving the purple trousers visible. That layered arrangement is the costume's strongest idea: the black coat establishes the scale, the red bands organize it, and the burgundy and purple layers keep the composition from feeling severe. The result is a Nightcrawler silhouette built from length, contained color, and clean angular lines.
